Tinashe Nhokwara 

Head Audiologist

Tinashe is the Head Audiologist at Audiomax Audiology Centres, bringing over ten years of experience to the field. She holds both a BSc (Hons) and MSc in Audiology from the University of Cape Town.

Tinashe has a strong passion for training and capacity development, which led her to play a key role in establishing the BSc (Hons) Audiology program at the University of Zimbabwe, where she now lectures and leads the Audiology department.

She has specialised in cochlear implants (MED-EL) for nearly a decade and extends her impact by volunteering with WIZEAR Trust, a non-profit dedicated to ear and hearing healthcare.

Outside of her professional commitments, Tinashe enjoys connecting with new cultures and people through travel.

 

Linda Sengwe  

Front Desk Officer/Audio-technician

Linda is the welcoming face of Audiomax Clinic and has been a valued member of the team for over ten years. She ensures that every patient enjoys a comfortable and positive experience in the waiting area, both before and after their consultations.

Linda manages bookings, performs regular patient follow-ups, and oversees all front desk administrative duties—making sure every visitor leaves with a smile.

In addition to her administrative expertise, Linda is a trained audio technician, having completed her certification in Industrial Audiometry and Hearing Assessment at Acts Institute in South Africa in 2019. She supports audiologists in clinical tasks, including school and workplace screenings, and is proficient in conducting Puretone Audiometry testing.

Tsungirirai Marufu  

Audiologist

Tsungirirai  is a qualified Audiologist with a BSc (Hons) in Audiology from the University of Zimbabwe, where she was part of the inaugural class of trained audiologists.

She has experience working with both pediatric and adult patients, providing a full range of audiology services aimed at delivering the highest standard of care and patient satisfaction. Tsungirirai is committed to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with advancements in the field to ensure best practices in her work.

Beyond the clinic, she enjoys her roles as a wife and mother.

Mazvita Useya

 Audiologist

Mazvita is a dedicated and compassionate Audiologist, committed to delivering holistic and personalized hearing care. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Audiology from the University of Zimbabwe and is passionate about helping patients achieve a happier, healthier hearing life.

Driven by curiosity and a love for learning, Mazvita is an avid reader with a keen interest in research and evidence-based practice. She takes pride in offering expert audiological solutions tailored to individuals of all ages and walks of life.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys cooking, playing word games, and exploring her interest in fashion.

Anashe Makota, 

Audiologist

Anashe is a passionate Audiologist with a BSc (Hons) in Audiology from the University of Zimbabwe. She is dedicated to guiding patients through every stage of their hearing journey—from diagnosis to treatment and ongoing care.

Anashe finds deep fulfillment in helping individuals overcome hearing challenges and enhancing their overall quality of life through compassionate, personalized support.

Outside of audiology, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, soaking in the beauty of nature, and planning her next adventure.
