Hearing Aids

From discreet in-the-canal models to powerful behind-the-ear devices, our hearing aids come in various styles to suit different degrees of hearing loss, lifestyle preferences, and cosmetic concerns. Many of our modern devices are equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing seamless streaming from phones, TVs, and other audio sources for greater ease and enjoyment.

Behind-the-Ear (BTE)

These rest behind the ear and connect to an earmold or earpiece inside the ear canal. Suitable for all ages and most degrees of hearing loss.

Receiver-in-Canal (RIC)/ Receiver-in-the-Ear(RITE)

Similar to BTE but smaller, with the speaker (receiver) placed in the ear canal. Often more discreet and used for mild to moderate hearing loss.

In-the-Ear (ITE)

Custom-made to fit within the outer portion of the ear. Suitable for mild to severe hearing loss.

In-the-Canal (ITC) & Completely-in-Canal (CIC)

These are smaller ITEs that fit partly or completely in the ear canal. More discreet but may be harder to handle and less powerful. Suitable for mild to moderate hearing loss.

Cochlear Implants

For individuals with severe to profound sensorineural hearing loss who no longer benefit from hearing aids, cochlear implants offer an alternative path to better hearing. These surgically implanted devices bypass damaged parts of the inner ear and directly stimulate the auditory nerve, helping users gain access to sounds and speech.

Main components:

External part: Worn behind the ear; includes a microphone, speech processor, and transmitter.

Internal part: Surgically placed under the skin; includes a receiver and electrode array inserted into the cochlea.

Cochlear implants can significantly improve hearing and speech understanding, especially in quiet environments, but they do not restore normal hearing. Auditory training and rehabilitation are often needed after implantation.

Hearing Assistive Technologies

Our range of assistive devices are designed to enhance your hearing experience in specific situations, such as noisy environments or one-on-one conversations. These additional products and tools help preserve the lifespan and functionality of your hearing aids.

These include:

  Roger Microphone Technology:

Wireless microphone placed in close proximity to the speaker that will:

  • Improve speech recognition in noise and at a distance
  • Reduce the distance between speaker and listener
  • Compensate for the effects of background noise and reverberation

 TV Connectors:

Accessory that streams TV and music directly to your your hearing aids using Bluetooth technology.

 Partner Mic:

A discreet and easy-to-use microphone that attaches to the speaker's lapel to improve hearing during one-on-one conversations.

 Remote Control:

A simple, handheld remote made to easily control your Phonak hearing aids.

  Bluetooth Connectivity:

Many modern hearing aids offer Bluetooth for streaming audio directly from phones, TVs, and other devices.
